A lil help?

I got my bf an XBox 360 for xmas, and also the first Fable game. Whenever he tries to play it, a screen pops up that says that it's unavailable on the console and that we have to update the machine. WTF does that mean, everyone knows that I'm technologically illiterate, so if someone could help...me love you long time.

Because the original fable is a Xbox game and not XBox 360 game you will need a software emulator that you can get online. Each original Xbox game you play on your Xbox 360 requires it.
